About this property
A private site at a working grain and nut farm (no livestock), so it is not a camp/RV area with accompanying facilities. The calendar is generally wide open except for several days during planting and harvest. There will be the property owner and workers present on occasion to do the work, but they will have no interest in your setup. The residence is private, ie the renters of the home will stay in their space and you in yours. Gravel lanes allow parking in inclement weather. In the privacy behind the farm buildings there is an acre of mowed grass with a fire pit with wood and trees for shade and wind protection. There is a 22-acre oak savanna on the property being restored to the condition that the nomadic Indians and buffalo once enjoyed. A half-mile trail leads to the woods if you wish to take a hike. The owner is a professional storyteller who can be available to explain farming and the 160-year history of the farm and area. He also has written several epic novels that are for sale as are lavender and honey products grown on the farm and seasonal bouquets of wild and perennial flowers... if you have an interest please advise in the messaging system.
